Redditch Petty Sessions - John Adams was charged with using indecent language on the 19th November.
Defendant pleaded guilty and Mr Hobson, for the defence, said defendant had been in South Africa on active service for two-and-a-half years.
He returned about 10 weeks ago and there had been some differences between him and his wife.
On the night in question, there was a disturbance and when the police came up he admitted doing 'a bit of cussing'.
The bench said under the circumstances defendant would have to pay the costs.
