William Unitt, farmer, Dagtail, Crabbs Cross, was charged with allowing a pig to stray in an affected area on November 14th.
Pc Crockett proved the case. Defendant said the pig broke out.
Supt Hayes said the whole of the county was now an affected area and the fact of the pig being astray rendered the owner liable to a penalty of £20.
He had no wish to press the case.
The bench fined defendant 2s 6d and 7s 6d costs.
