THIEVES who stole £210 worth of property from a car left in Redditch's multi-storey car park have wrecked Malcolm Hawkes' holiday plans.
The raiders 'went fishing' in the boot of his car and landed four rods and other equipment valued at £100.
Builder Mr Hawkes, 29, of Butler Street, Astwood Bank has been forced to cancel a Scottish fishing trip, due to begin this week.
He has gone back to work after learning his insurance does not cover the theft.
Mrs Gwen Hawkes is not very happy either.
Her hair drier, leather bag, cassette recorder and other personal effects worth £110 were also taken when she left the car for 15 minutes.
