EVESHAM United managerial duo Phil Mullen and Paul West have both managed the Reds.
Mullen had a lengthy spell in charge in the 90s and West's one game in charge, between the reigns of Nicky Cross and Rod Brown, brought a breathtaking 5-4 League Cup win over Stourport.
Saturday's hosts have had a turnover of players recently with midfielders darren Bullock and Steve Lutz heading for Bromsgrove Rovers and Matty Gardiner coming to the Valley.
Mullen has recruited former St Kitts and Nevis striker and Redditch target Gary Smith, striker Mark Sheppard on loan from Solihull Borough and Hinckley United forward Paul Hunter.
"Redditch are as good a side as any in this division," said West, who had an injury-hit spell as a player at the Valley.
"I think Rod Brown will be quietly confident of being in the frame next season."
