UNBEATEN Worcester City could cap their fine start to the season by going to the top of the Dr Martens Premier Division tonight.
John Barton's side take on fierce rivals Moor Green at St George's Lane (7.45) buoyed by successive wins against Newport County and Welling United.
If leaders Grantham lose at Hednesford and City win, Barton's side will become the new leaders.
Pat Lyons and Michael Blackwood face late fitness tests after picking up toe injuries but Allan Davies, Leon Jackson and Asa Charlton are on stand-by if the pair fail to make the starting line up.
Confidence is high in the City camp but Barton has refused to underestimate Moor Green despite the visitors' dismal start to the season.
The Moors have crashed to four defeats and are still waiting for their first win.
"With two wins on the trot it's all set up for tonight but there is no way we will be underestimating Moor Green," said Barton.
"They got the better of us last year and have to be respected and it will be another tough test for us."
Barton admitted the performance against Welling lacked the cutting edge shown against Newport but was nevertheless pleased with the character demonstrated by his players.
"If we had played as we did against Newport it would have been comfortable, but this was a messy display."
Formcast: Can't back against City -- 2-0 winners.
