DESPITE fighting back from a 2-0 deficit on bank Holiday Monday Malvern Town again slipped to defeat at Kington Town in this Premier Division game.
KINGTON TOWN 4, MALVERN TOWN 2
The home side opened up a two-goal lead inside the opening 12 minutes but Town hit back as Dean Roberts pulled one back just before half time and Billy Davis, who later broke a bone in his foot, levelled the score in the second half.
When Town looked to have saved a point, two goals for Kington in the final minutes saw the home side to a 4-2 victory.
Malvern Town general manager Richard Anson said: "Once again poor defending let us down."
