A SWEDISH student who started supporting Bromsgrove Rovers after finding them in a football management game has travelled the best part of 2,000 miles to see them play.
Magnus Olsson, aged 21, flew in especially for last Saturday's 4-1 victory over Rocester at the Victoria Ground.
It has been a dream of Olsson, who has never been to England before, to watch Rovers play ever since he learned of their existence eight years ago.
While playing the fictional Premier Manager 3, Olsson, from Uddevalla, near Gothenburg, was stuck between managing either Rovers or Halifax Town - he chose Rovers - and got them to win the Premier League.
Since then Magnus, who studies Cartography, has followed their progress on the internet, although he admits it was difficult to get scores when Rovers started to drop through the leagues.
Last Friday he landed at Stanstead and took the train to Birmingham before being taken on a tour of Bromsgrove by members of the team's supporters society and watching the game.
"The second half was great to watch," he said.
Magnus was presented with a signed calendar and team photograph after the game.
