THERE was a bright spot as the driving rain forced Kidderminster Harriers' game at Torquay to be postponed at the weekend.
A booking for skipper Sean Flynn, Bo Henriksen, Scott Stamps or Danny Williams would have brought their tally to five and ruled them out of the Rushden FA Cup tie on Saturday, November 16.
Six-goal Henriksen would have missed the Torquay game anyway with a thigh muscle injury, while the versatile Craig Hinton was to be rested on the bench after an ankle knock.
Williams, however, was declared fit to play after an x-ray on his ribs revealed no serious damage.
The postponed game meant all those four players will be available for Rushden, injuries permitting.
Dean Bennett and Ian Foster were due to be given their chances at Plainmoor but the wet weather put an end to that.
Meanwhile, Harriers U-18s are due to entertain Cradley in the Worcestershire FA Youth Cup tonight (7.45pm).
