FOLLOWING a couple of lean months, with unsettled teams taking the field due to injury and non-availability, it's all change again for Malvern RFC first XV.
Scrum half George Blakeway is back from his Australasian adventures, which is just as well, with Sam Hardcastle still out and David Llewellyn recalled by Newport as injury cover.
Former captain Andy Longley resumes at full back in the continuing absence of Richard Wylde, whose hamstring is not yet fully mended, replacing Richard Fleming who is on the replace-ment's bench this week.
The centre pairing of Mark Eastwood and Paul Jenkin is retained, whilst it is likely that Australian Dave King will start on the wing in his debut match for Malvern. The pack remains unchanged except for the rotation of props James Daniell and Tim Allies, whilst Chris Pemble joins the squad as front row replacement.
The University College Worcester hooker has previously played at Reading and has turned in some good performances in the Spring Lane second team this season.
Malvern have met former National League side Walsall twice at home this season, losing 12-15 in the RFU Senior Cup in September then gaining a tense 22-21 league victory the following month, so another close game is expected.
Walsall, who were hoping to regain their National League status at the start of the season, have enjoyed a mixed set of results. They have won five of their 12 league matches to date and are two points behind Malvern in the league table but have two games in hand.
