KIDDERMINSTER Harriers manager Ian Britton has delivered a 'more of the same' message to his players for Boxing Day's Nationwide League Division Three clash against Leyton Orient at Aggborough (3pm).
Britton was delighted with Harriers' 2-0 win at Wrexham on Saturday and is urging them to start reproducing the same kind of performance in home matches.
He said: "We did well at Wrexham to get three points, but what we don't want to do is to go back to Aggborough, where we haven't done so well in terms of points, and blow it. We want to follow Saturday's win with a good result."
Tenth-place Harriers have won just three league matches at Aggborough so far this season compared to five on their travels.
Midfielder Sean Parrish, who scored Kidderminster's opening goal against his home town club Wrexham, said: "The gaffer has said we have got to take Saturday's performance into Boxing Day.
"It's not vitally important we get three points but our home form has been letting us down and it will be a waste having a draw or defeat on Thursday. We have got to get three points."
Harriers, who drew 0-0 with Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road in late August, have no major injury problems apart from their two long-term casualties utility player Adie Smith (ankle) and defender Scott Stamps (groin).
Free-scoring midfielder John Melligan, who is now poised to stay at Aggborough on loan from Wolves until the end of season, picked up a few bruises against Wrexham but is set to play.
The O's are three points worse off than Kidderminster who will continue their hectic holiday programme on Sunday when they face a league trip to high-riding Bury (3pm).
Orient boss Paul Brush's men will go into the match with three successive league victories under their belt against Swansea City, Torquay United and Boston United.
On-form striker Chris Tate has scored in the last three games, helping to lift his side to 14th place in the table.
FORMCAST: Harriers to register a 2-1 win.
