MALVERN RFC have signed ex Stourbridge and Worcester RFC player Richard Wilde in time for tomorrow's (Saturday) Midlands One game at local rivals Luctonians.
Wilde is a full back or utility threequarter who has played at senior level and is well known to the Malvern players, having come through the Worcester Academy a few years ago. He played in the same side as George Blakeway and came through the ranks with Mark Humphreys, both former Sixways graduates.
Director of rugby David Robins said: "Richard will bring great depth of experience to a Malvern squad which is currently undergoing a rebuilding programme. He will be good for the up and coming youngsters around him, whilst inspiring confidence in the older heads in the team."
Wilde's registration will be ratified in time for this weekend.
