A BOOK chronicling a pre-war Herefordshire childhood has gone on sale to benefit Kemp Hospice.
The 20-page publication, "Heaven and Earth: The Life of a Poor Country Boy", is available from the hospice's shops in Kidderminster, Stourport and Bewdley, as well as from the Appeals Office in Sutton Park Road.
Author Ernie Bradley, a singer with Wyre Forest group Cum Sing Wi We - which performs traditional Black Country songs - has donated more than 100 copies to the hospice.
The group paid for publishing so the £2 price goes directly to the hospice's running costs and the £2.2million building appeal.
