Evesham Utd Ladies 1, Redditch Utd 4
UNITED suffered a fourth consecutive defeat in a game they should have won comfortably.
After falling behind after 11 minutes, the Common Road side created five excellent chances before the break but only succeeded in making one count when Lisa Tustin ran on to a through ball from Amanda Payne to outpace the Redditch defence and confidently steer the ball past the oncoming goalkeeper.
Redditch started the second half on top and, after Evesham goalkeeper Amanda Upton had made a fine save to keep her team on terms,, two lapses of concentration from throw-ins produced further Redditch goals.
Upton produced another fine save on the hour and five minutes later Evesham thought they had pulled a goal back when Nicky Bond set up Tustin to net but the effort was disallowed for offside.
Charlene McLoughlin produced a fine tackle to prevent a fourth concession before poor defending allowed a Redditch player time and space to complete the scoring.
Evesham almost scored a second but Bond's shot came back off an upright.
