Skipper Nathan Jukes blasted in an injury time screamer as Evesham United defeated Western Division leaders at Bromsgrove at Common Road yesterday.
Both sides had earlier been denied by the woodwork but Jukes found the net with a magnificent drive from all of 25 yards after Andy Smith's cross had only been partially cleared.
Manager Phil Mullen introduced latest recruit Neil Illman 20 minutes from time, while the match marked the welcome return from suspension of utility man Wesley Joyce, who started up front and then dropped back to centre half when Illman replaced a limping Paul West.
United's next outing is at Weston-super-Mare on Saturday when another win could herald the start of a promotion push in 2003.
