DEFENDER Steve Ulfig will miss tonight's Dr Martens Western Division Worcestershire derby at Evesham United through injury (7.45pm).
If the game beats the wet weather, Stourport Swifts midfield man Matt Southwick may also have to be rested with a calf injury.
Both players had to be substituted in Saturday's 0-0 draw against promotion-chasing Chippenham Town with Ulfig taking a bang to the knee.
However, boss Tim Langford is now happy to have competition for places with the signings of Ian Cottrill from Worcester on loan and permanent addition Richie Gardner.
Tonight's match promises to be competitive with both sides scrapping for a top-six slot.
Evesham inflicted a rare home defeat on Swifts with a late winner back in August but Langford's men have struggled on their travels.
He said: "We were unlucky when Evesham beat us earlier in the season and tonight we will be aiming to reverse that result.
"The new players' arrival has given us competition for places which is what I wanted.
"Both did well on Saturday and considering it was Cottrill's first competitive game for four months I was impressed and can see why he's playing at a higher level."
Evesham have released keeper Damian Beattie and replaced him with former Redditch and Solihull man Dave Adey.
Their manager, former Swifts man Phil Mullen, is revamping his side after poor results, including a 3-1 defeat at crisis club Bilston last week.
