STOURPORT Swifts are searching for a new boss after eight Dr Martens Western Division games following the sacking of Tim Langford.
The Walshes Meadow men have failed to win in the league, scoring just four goals and conceding 20, and were knocked out of the FA Cup at the first time of asking.
Chairman Chris Reynolds is inviting applications for the post after seeing second-from-bottom Swifts well beaten by local rivals Redditch United and Bromsgrove Rovers so far.
Langford struggled to keep a settled side with players coming and going at regular intervals though he guided the club to eighth in their first season at Western Division level on replacing title-winning Rod Brown.
However, it seems the 3-0 defeat at Bromsgrove was the last straw and Swifts are now in disarray ahead of Saturday's FA Trophy trip to high-scoring Mangotsfield United.
