CONFERENCE club Telford United have confirmed they will head to Stourport Swifts for a pre-season friendly on Saturday, August 3.
Swifts player-boss Tim Langford, a former Telford favourite, is also keen to play a couple of away friendlies at smaller sides.
But the club, who will also host Stourbridge, Worcester City and Halesowen Town, have ditched plans for a tournament at Banbury United.
There are no new signings as yet and chairman Chris Reynolds has stressed Alex Cowley has not joined Redditch United despite reports to the contrary.
Swifts are still demanding a fee for the young winger as they hold his registration but would prefer him to stay at Walshes Meadow.
Volunteers are needed to help out with pre-season maintenance work around the ground like extending the dug-outs and painting barriers.
They are also searching for new backroom staff, including a turnstile operator.
Anyone interested can call Reynolds on 01299 250800 or general manager John McDonald on 01299 822088.
