SPRING has sprung Tenbury Primary School Parent Teachers' Association into action with the playground taking on a new look, thanks to a lottery grant of £3,579.
Last year, the PTA and Malvern Hills District Council worked together on the scheme and have been rewarded by the lottery grant.
For the past six weeks, Sundays have been spent clearing the area behind the school to create a conservation site for all the children and a willow arch has been erected. The children have also planted a wild flower area and tree seats are being built around two acers.
Grounds are also being laid out with adventure trails, a sandpit, bird boxes, tactile plants and outdoor chimes made from recycled materials.
PTA chairman Caroline Palethorpe thanks everyone for their support.
