CEDS "A", bottom team in Division Four of the Worcester & District Skittle League, pulled of the shock of the second round of the Team Knockout when defeating Division One side Saints by 10 pins.

CEDS started with 71 to which Saints replied with 77 followed by 83. Helped by a 13 spare by D Aston CEDS scored 87 to put themselves, with the help of the handicap, 13 pins in front.

The next four legs were evenly matched but on their last leg and helped by a 12 spare from R Cullis and a 13 spare by S Davies, CEDS scored 87 to leave Saints 101 for victory.

Despite scoring 90 the highest leg of the night, Saints fell short.
