VAL Cowell, of the UK Independence Party, asks me if I find the truth too tough (You Say, Wednesday, March 26).
On the contrary, I find it very congenial - I just don't find it very often in UKIP propaganda.
I'd already seen the document to which Val refers. It's entirely innocuous, except when viewed through the distorting lens of UKIP's paranoid conspiracy theories.
Val's own letter demonstrates this wonderfully, when she talks about "a huge network incorporating every level of local government".
It's a shame The X-Files is no longer in need of scriptwriters.
