Springvale Rovers 1 - 0 Wollescote Sports
Springvale beat Wollescote Sports 1-0, but it was only after a battling performance.
The game started evenly with both sides struggling to create any clear cut chances. Most of the game was being played in the middle of the park. Five minutes before half time the Vale got the decisive goal when a cross into the box was headed several times before James Manley headed in from six yards out.
In the second half the game took on another phase with Wollescote now pushing for the equaliser and Vale breaking on the counter attack.
However, neither game plan worked and the game ended with Vale gaining a valuable three points.
This Saturday Springvale travel to play Kinver with a 3pm start.
