A JOB fair for those with learning difficulties is being held at The Blue Lamp Caf in Worcester College of Technology next week.
The event is being organised by the Employment Strategy Group - a working partnership between Social Services, JobCentre Plus, the Benefits Agency and the County Council's human resources.
It is one of a series of Route to Employment fairs being held across Worcestershire to raise awareness of the services available to support people with learning difficulties.
"By inviting people with learning difficulties and their carers to the events, we want to give everyone - including school and college leavers - more options in respect of their routes to employment," said Christopher Shellam, county enterprises' manager.
Other agencies supporting the fairs include Connexions, Mencap Pathway, Beacon Employment, Where Next?, the Shaw Trust and Remploy.
The fair will be held at the college on Wednesday, April 9, between noon and 5pm.
