BATTLING DJs will be getting the crowds in a spin at a monthly contest to find out who's best on the decks.
Deuce, a new club-night
promoted by Deuce Soundsystem, will be holding a Battle Of The DJs on the first Friday of every month, giving amateur DJs a chance to play.
The night is being held at The Ramada Hotel, Bewdley from 7pm to 1am.
So far, DJs from Worcester, Droitwich, Stourport-on-Severn, Bewdley, Kidderminster, Shrawley and Rowley Regis have taken part or contacted Deuce.
An Australian DJ who lives in Italy even flew over especially for the occasion, after reading about the night in International DJ magazine.
"It was mad - we couldn't believe that he turned up!" said Adam Robins, a Deuce promoter.
"He even brought over six mates with him!"
Although Deuce have had a massive response with over 80 DJs contacting them, they are still looking for more DJs.
"There are a huge number of talented bedroom DJs mixing dance music without an audience," said Adam.
"Some DJs will never have the opportunity for others to hear, let alone dance to their music.
"These DJs would relish the opportunity to move out of their bedrooms and into a crowded club.
"Imagine the thrill of seeing hundreds dance to the music that you are playing them.
"Deuce Soundsystem are offering up and coming DJs the chance to play in a fully 'decked out' club environment in front of a real crowd.
"We at Deuce believe that you don't need super-club status or Superstar DJs to have a truly memorable night."
