REGARDING the parking problems at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Michael O'Riordan stated (Evening News, Saturday, March 29) that we need more public transport, a park-and-ride and a one-way system.
Surely one of the most obvious solutions would be to get rid of the gardens. You would instantly have 100-plus more parking spaces in no time at all.
As for losing a parking space (be it only one) to provide a smoking cabin is beyond belief, especially on a hospital car park, when we are being told all the time by the medical world that we should not smoke because it's bad for our health.
