LUSTY youths are staging after-school orgies in a love-shack at the back of an elderly couple's home, a distressed pensioner claims.

Charles Wood is aghast at hearing teenagers in the throes of passion over his garden fence.

Two girls and three boys have set up a in a makeshift shelter they have built near storage containers on the Tolladine estate, he claimed.

Mr Wood has seen the teenagers having sex and their passionate groans are disturbing his wife Shirley and himself.

The 70-year-old has complained to the police and to the city council, but has not been given any answers.

"We've had quite a few problems and a lot of hassle," said Mr Wood, of Maple Avenue.

The city council is renovating houses nearby, and behind our house on a private road are two big container bins to store materials.

"The little horrors on the estate decided to build a cabin between these and my fence.

"There are 12 and 13-year-olds having sex in that cabin - I've seen them. I've told the council and they don't want to know. It's causing quite a lot of distress."

Mr Wood said the teenagers have put up a wooden shelter, with a mattress and sofa inside, and a blue tarpaulin sheet.

Other, younger, children added to the mayhem by jumping on his shed roof from a neighbouring property.

He said he had tried to talk to the youngsters but had received an earful of abuse in reply.

"Some are as young as eight and they're worse than the big ones. They've got every word in the vocabulary for you and most of the time it ends in 'off'.

"We're frightened at night in case they come in our garden.

"We've asked the council to move the storage containers because, at the moment, no one can see them. If they moved them further up the road then everyone would be able to see them."

Mike O'Grady, the head of architecture and surveying at Worcester City Council, said the authority was aware of teenagers using the den but was not aware of them having sex.

"The contractors using this piece of land for storage are not being hindered by these activities at the moment," he said.

"The police, I understand, are aware of the den's presence and are keeping an eye on it."

Worcester police said it would investigate any reports of inappropriate behaviour but had not received any complaint over the past two months.

"Any incident will be the subject of a full and thorough investigation," said a police spokeswoman. "Any offences will be dealt with accordingly."
