AN opportunity to see the imaginative work of two internationally renowned Worcester artists is available at Huntingdon Hall.
Original paintings by Paul Powis and Sara Hayward, of Battenhall, Worcester, are being shown in the Art House caf bar from April until mid-June, when the exhibition will move to Oxford University's Jerwood Gallery.
The artists' travels around Italy, Spain, and other areas along the Mediterranean and the Adriatic form the subject of many of their exhibitions, usually shown in London and abroad.
Sara Hayward paints chiefly Mediterranean landscapes and exotic gardens, but this exhibition focuses on a recent trip to Venice, inspired by the colour, light and variety of architectural compositions.
Paul Powis shares her interest in light and colour and is interested in the spatial relationship of colours and the structural qualities of the landscape.
Original paintings by both artists are available at Birties of Worcester and limited edition prints are available from Kings Gallery, Regent Galleries and Churchill Framing in Worcester. Their website is www.powishayward.com
