CUP history beckons for Evesham United tonight (7.45) when they visit Halesowen Town in the first leg of the Worcestershire Senior Cup final -- a competition they have never won.
The Robins only reached their first final two seasons ago losing to Moor Green but manager Phil Mullen insists his side can make it second time lucky.
Mullen, will be without the cup-tied Mark Shepherd and Wesley Joyce (head injury) while Grant Pinkney (bruised shin) is also a doubt after being substituted early on in the 1-0 league defeat at home to Gloucester City.
Evesham have lost just two of their last 10 matches - a run of results which included a 1-0 win over Premier Division Moor Green in the Senior Cup semi finals.
Halesowen inflicted a 4-3 defeat on the Robins back in November during a closely contested League Cup encounter and if United can keep it similarly close for the second leg at Common Road Mullen believes they have every chance of winning.
"They obviously play in a higher league so in one sense for us there is nothing to lose and everything to gain," he said.
"We've already played Halesowen once this season in the Dr Martens League Cup where we did well to pull back to 3-3 before they won 4-3.
"In this match I would like to be in the position where are still in with a chance come the return leg and then anything can happen."
Mullen, who has tasted success in the Senior Cup as manager of Kidderminster Harriers when they beat Worcester City 4-3 on aggregate four years ago, is relishing another tilt with Evesham.
"It's always been nice to be in the final but it is going to be difficult for us," he added.
* Pershore Town go head to head with West Midlands Premier Division outfit Ledbury tonight for a Worcester Infirmary Cup final place (7.45).
The Midland Combination Premier side entertain Ledbury with manager Nigel Russell insisting they can win.
"If we concentrate and do a professional job there is no reason why we can't beat them," he said.
Ledbury go into the tie buoyed by a 3-0 league victory over Herefordshire rivals Wellington at the weekend inspired by two-goal hero Duncan Preedy.
* Fernhill County Sports make a trip to Highgate for their latest Midland Combination Premier Division clash tonight (7.45).
