A 49-year-old man has pleaded guilty to possessing drugs, failing to stop after an accident and three other driving offences at Worcester Magistrates Court.
Police suspected Steven Roberts, of Dinchall Road, Worcester, after he limped away from the scene of a collision between his motorbike and a car on Saturday, March 29.
The incident happened at the junction of Spetchley Road and Nunnery Lane, in the Nunnery area of Worcester.
Police tracked Roberts down at his home, using the bike's licence plate to identify him.
There they discovered Roberts was almost double the drink-drive limit - 35mcg per 100ml of breath - after drinking in the Oak Apple Inn, Spetchley Road.
Cannabis
He was also charged with possessing a small amount of cannabis.
Roberts was also charged with failing to stop after an accident, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
He was yesterday issued with an interim-driving ban and released on unconditional bail pending a pre-sentence report.
He is due to reappear before Worcester magistrates at 11am on Wednesday, April 30.
