BROMSGROVE Rovers could be without goalkeeper Matt Lowe until the end of the season - and have no immediate replacement for him ahead of this Saturday's trip to Cirencester Town.

Lowe damaged his knee taking a goal kick in the 2-1 home victory over Mangotsfield United last Saturday and striker Les Palmer had to take his place for three quarters of the match.

With substitute goalkeeper Gary Hateley having left for Halesowen Town, Rovers are turning to two other stoppers on their books - Steve Thomas and Jim McGettrick, himself recovering from a knee operation.

The Dr Martens transfer deadline passed on March 31 so management duo Gary Hackett and Jon Ford cannot solve the problem that way.
