SOME very important matters were discussed at the meeting of Redditch District Council on Tuesday - the winding-up meeting of the year.
The report of the medical officer of health for the past month and past quarter showed the district to be in a fairly healthy state.
Although the infantile mortality rate is still lamentably high, you should be glad to hear of a more rapid reduction of the number of cases of scarlet fever.
