BIRMINGHAM City Ladies have been left in the dark about when they will complete their National Division fixtures with an outstanding final match at Charlton.

Blues went down 3-1 to the team who ended their FA Cup hopes earlier in the season.

And the Valley tenants have had to postpone the reverse fixture against the Londoners on Sunday because of their international commitments.

The Redditch-based side have half a dozen of their stars on duty with the England under 19s next week the Blues contingent are meeting up on Friday.

Charlton have a fixture backlog of their own to worry about because they cannot play any of their outstanding four league games on the final weekend of the season because they are playing in the FA Cup final on May 5.

With Sunday ruled out, Charlton only have April 20 and the following Sunday available and could end up asking Blues to make an unwanted midweek trip to the capital.

The six-strong Birmingham contingent are bidding to qualify for European under 19s Championships in Germany next year.

Beth Bailey, Faye Cardin, Michelle Hickmott, Katy Ward, Jo Potter and Eni Aluko are all in Hope Powell's squad for the three qualifying matches which will all be held on home soil.

The young lions take on Ireland, Spain and Denmark with the group winners qualifying for the finals and the three best runners-up from qualifying groups also going through.

England kick-off against Ireland on Tuesday at Bedford Town (ko 6pm).
