REDDITCH Irish Society will be saying Cead Mile Failte to people from all over the town as it holds its festival week from Saturday, April 26.
There will be song and dance in the Kingfisher Centre from 1-3pm on the first day and the fun will continue in the evening when Bob Brolly and his band will perform at St Benedict's Social Club, Rowan Road, Batchley from 8pm. Tickets cost £6.
The following day sees a a church service at Mount Carmel from 6pm with Father Eamon Corduff.
There will be more musical fun on Thursday, May 1, with Irish dancers and the Clan na h' Eireann Ceile Band performing at St Benedict's Social Club from 8pm. Tickets cost £4.
The action moves to Studley's Entaco Club, in Eldorado Close, the following night with a free evening of fun from 8pm.
The festival closes on Saturday, May 3, with an 8pm performance by Caroline and the Country Blues at St Benedict's Social Club, supported mid-evening by Mary Felton and her troop of Irish dancers.
