ALCESTER are bidding to end the season with three straight wins and avenge a particularly painful defeat on Saturday.
Pat Lamb's side are still smarting after losing the away game at Rugby St Andrews to a last second penalty and will be bidding for vengeance at home at the weekend (ko 3pm).
Alcester warmed up for the game by completing a local double over higher league Kings Norton at the weekend.
Both sides were missing players for the friendly fixture as the hosts ran out 20-17 winners over their Powergen Midlands Four West South opponents.
Lamb is hoping to have Tom Heneghan and Martin Sergeant back for a strong finish to the Warwickshire One campaign on Saturday.
Number eight Vince Young is unlikely to figure after a shoulder injury two weeks ago and Scott Carmichael is on cricketing duty as captain of Exhall and Wixford.
