THE greatest fictitious detective ever treads the boards at Redditch's Palace Theatre on Saturday.
Starring Roger Llewellyn, Sherlock Holmes - The Last Act, was written by David Stuart Davies especially for him.
RADA trained, he has had a long career in television, the West End, regional theatre and with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Drawn from Sussex retirement by the funeral of his close friend, Dr Watson, Holmes returns to Baker Street to resolve 'the last act' of his career.
Tickets cost £7.50 (£6.50 with Reddicards) from the Information Centre or on 65203.
