DEAR EDITOR -- I was not at all surprised to read in your paper that the self-proclaimed 'born-again' christian Mike Tindall has been 'physically attacked, spat at
and...verbally abused'.
The man is a positive menace in Bromsgrove High Street - his aggressive style of 'preaching' is both harassing and offensive and more likely to cause antagonism than enlightenment.
He claims that the abuse 'doesn't bother him'. Perhaps it should as it's an indication that his method of approaching people is deeply flawed.
My personal opinion is that he and his like enjoy the opposition they provoke as it aids in their identification with the martyrdom of their 'saviour'.
If he ever bothers me again I shall complain to the local coucil and may I suggest that anyone else who has been upset by his rudeness does the same.
J Harrison,
Bromsgrove. (By e-mail)
