DEAR EDITOR -- I'm sick and tired of putting myself and my children at risk on the streets, or should I say roads, of Bromsgrove as most drivers seem to think that the pavements are for their use as well as the roads and car parks.
Do they not realise the problems it causes people in wheelchairs, people with pushchairs or buggy's. Most pavements in Bromsgrove are barely wide enough for people to pass each other, without ignorant drivers parking wholly or half on the pavements.
Why do they do it? it makes no difference to the traffic they still have to wait to get past.
Wake up Bromsgrove District Council -- this is untapped money if you targeted these bad drivers you would reap a fortune to pay for wider pavements or more parking.
The worst area is Stoke road and I challenge any one to get down there early morning or in the evening without having to cross the road in order to get past these.
K Finlay,
Bromsgrove. (By e-mail)
