PATRIOTIC residents are being invited to fly the flag at a Saint George's Day lunch later this month.
The Gate Hangs Well in Woodgate is hosting a fundraising lunch to mark the Patron Saint of England and raise stacks of cash for the Primrose Hospice.
Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding followed by apple pie feature on the mouth-watering menu, which is planned for April 23 at 12 noon.
Diners can also look forward to a talk from Terry Church entitled 'Our England'.
Primrose Hospice community fundraiser Lyn Winters said: "It should be a really lovely occasion and we hope to raise lots of money for the hospice."
Tickets, priced £12.95, include the three-course lunch and are available from Lyn at the Finstall-based hospice on 01527 875444.
