A MAN was viciously attacked after being involved in a car crash on the A491 Bromsgrove to Hagley road.
The man suffered a broken nose, broken ribs and bruising to the face after being beaten up by two Asian men.
He was driving a blue Rover towards Hagley on Friday, March 28, at 6.30am when there was a minor collision with a white car with the two men inside it.
The cars stopped on the dual carriageway where the road works begin and the two men got out of the white car, which is believed to be a Toyota Carina.
They went over to the driver of the Rover, who had opened his window to talk to them.
The man was punched in the face and the second Asian man went round to the passenger side and got into the car and started to kick the man.
The two offenders then got back into their car and drove off towards Kidderminster.
The driver of the Rover managed to get himself to hospital where he was treated and discharged. Police say he will need further medical treatment.
The only description of the two attackers is that they were Asian men.
Police say a number of people stopped but did not give their details to the police or the victim.
PC Adam Lewis, of Hagley police station, is appealing for these people to contact him on either 08457 444888 or 01562 820888.
