NOW is the time for Redditch residents to consider who they want to see on their council through the elections on May 1.
This year, the election contests seats for 10 of the current 11 ward areas in Redditch.
Poll cards for the election were starting to be hand-delivered to homes from last week.
Anyone who is away from the area on polling day can apply for a postal vote by contacting the town hall on 534009.
The deadline for new applications is 5pm on Wednesday, April 23, and the deadline for making changes to existing postal arrangements is 5pm on Friday.
The election of Feckenham councillors is uncontested with only seven candidates standing for the seven seats.
The new Feckenham Parish Council will be Kathleen Burgin, Douglas Hickman, Judith Hooker, Pamela Lincoln-Lewis, Pete Masters, Robert Ruffle and Phillip Ticklebank.
