MP for Alcester John Maples has welcomed the passing of a seatbelt law in the European Parliament.
The law means everyone will have to wear seatbelts on coaches and minibuses where fitted - including school buses.
The draft resolution says the new law hopes to provide a clear step forward in the field of road safety in Europe.
The legislation is still waiting final assessment from EU ministers and is planned to become law in three years' time.
