ANDY Bishop was relieved to find the net after going 13 games without a goal but was disappointed Kidderminster Harriers could not cut out their mistakes.

The young loan forward from Walsall said: "I've been doing everything I normally do so it was just a matter of time before I scored again.

"Hopefully, I can grab a few more before the end of the season.

"We created quite a few chances and we really should have scored far more before the break.

"We started the second half well but then we started playing long balls instead of stroking it around on the deck. I suppose for that reason we didn't deserve to win.

"We've got the players and the team who can do it. We're making too many mistakes and that is what's costing us."

Ian Britton admitted there seemed to be no end to the sloppy goals which are blighting Harriers' play-off push.

He said: "It doesn't matter who plays at the back, or what the system is, we are still letting in sloppy goals, goals that the opposition don't have to work for.

"It's been like it all season so it doesn't surprise me.

"We have played some really good stuff this season, as good as anybody in this division, but at any level if you give goals away then you are not going to win things.

"It was Dion Scott's mistake for their equaliser but I'm just not blaming him. It just happened to be his turn to make an error.

"The only reason I'm dejected by the result is because we are going out of the season with a whimper.

"I thought our first-half performance was great. That's how we can play and against the best team in the league."
