LIFFORD HALL: The income and expenditure accounts for the year ending October 31, 2002, were presented to a reconvened public meeting by the new treasurer, Mr Gordon Franks. After questions from the floor, the accounts (with minor amendments) were accepted by all present.
Mr Franks was thanked for his sterling efforts. He thanked Mr Richard Prater for his help and assistance in preparing them. Mr Franks passed onto the meeting the favourable comments made by the auditors on the previous five years accounts prepared by Richard Prater.
The meeting again gave thanks to the village events group (VEG) and Dave Smith in particular for maintaining their magnificent contributions, both financially and socially to the Lifford Hall and to the village as a whole.
