ONE of Britain's most celebrated children's authors will have his work brought to life at the Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham.
Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach tells the tale of a lonely boy forced to live with two of the most revolting aunts in the country.
One day a mysterious old man gives him a bag containing some strong magic. When James spills the bag near an old peach tree, an amazing adventure begins.
The Giant Peach is one of Dahl's less gruesome tales and can be enjoyed by anyone from age four upwards. It is the latest production from the Birmingham Stage Company and follows their acclaimed tours of The Witches and Charlotte's Webb.
This peach of a show is the perfect way to beat the Easter blues.
The show is being staged from Tuesday to Saturday.
Tickets cost £6-£11.50. Discounts are available. For information call the box office on 01242 572573.
