HOCKEY: Stourport Ladies' U-19s made the most of home advantage to become Worcestershire champions with victories over Old Sils and Droitwich.
Melisa Kennedy passed for Kerry Walker to round the keeper and put them ahead against Old Sils in a 2-0 win.
The second goal was added before the break when a short corner was charged down and Colleen Kiley pushed the ball in at the far post.
In a 6-0 hammering of Droitwich, Walker grabbed a hat-trick, including an opener in the first 15 seconds, alongside goals from Kerry Maughan, Kennedy and Karra Sunburk.
Also in the Stourport squad were Charlotte Manley, Alison Leeke, Claire Burrows, Sarah Taylor, Georgie Burns, Alex Totney and Emily McCoy.
Meanwhile, all three ladies' teams mixed together for Stourport's friendly at Blossomfield but they crashed to a 7-0 defeat.
Many of the regular side were involved in the U-19s tournament so it provided a chance for various second and third string players.
However, Stourport had conceded within the first five minutes and then were only saved by Sara Jennings' goal-line clearance following a short corner.
Blossomfield, camped in the visitors' half, added two more goals before the break though Stourport shut up shop for some time.
The Wyre Forest side's best chance was stopped on the line and then their keeper Sarah Dyde forced a shot to go inches wide before Blossomfield added four second-half goals.

Sandra Barlow, Vicky Bristow and Sarah Polfreman scored for Stourport in a re-arranged Worcestershire League Division Three match.
Barlow gave Stourport the lead in the 10th minute when she slipped the ball past the keeper's pads and through a defender's legs from the top of the D.
Forward Sally Haines produced several good passes as Bromsgrove were prevented from advancing into their visitors' half.
Polfreman's pass was touched in by Bristow to give Stourport a 2-0 interval lead.
Keeper Isobel Rosie made several saves in the second period, while Polfreman lifted home a third goal from a narrow angle in the 53rd minute.
