SWIMMING: Wyre Forest Swimming Club A team easily won a depleted Fred Godfrey Gala at Stourport on Saturday, winning 34 of the 41 races.

The 15-year age group triumphed in all their races, while Forest's B team tied for second place with three victories and 18 second places.

But two teams pulled out of the competition so the gala was run with just three teams.

Points: Wyre Forest A 114, Wyre Forest B and Swadlincote 63.
