A 19lb 10oz catfish was landed by Kidderminster's Craig Williams with luncheonmeat as bait at Shatterford Lakes Fishery's coarse pools.

Stourport angler Paul Wiggan caught two carp to 18lb with boilies on the same lake the previous week.

Kidderminster anglers have also fared well on the Erics Lake over the last two weeks.

R Keen caught four carp to 18lb 8oz with boilies and Mathew Davis favoured bread crust for his six-carp catch to 14lb 12oz.

Mixed bags of roach, bream and carp to 35lb were reported from the Stuarts Lake where Shane Young, of Kidderminster, earlier used sweetcorn to catch a 16lb carp.

The biggest fish on the Erics was a 19lb 12oz carp which fell to boilies and the same bait was used on the Gainsborough for a three-carp catch to 12lb 8oz.

On the trout scene, 19 anglers caught 38 trout on the Masters Lake with an average weight of 5lb, using mainly viva and buzzers.

However, one used an orange lure and caught a 10.5lb brown trout and three rainbows with a total weight of 16.75lb.

On the Stella, six anglers caught 35 trout between them with an average weight of 2lb, finding viva and damsel nymphs the best flies.

A damsel nymph accounted for a catch of 14 trout to 2lb.

The Wyre Dell saw eight anglers catch 50 trout between them, average weight 2lb, with viva and montana popular.
