A REPAIRMAN who fixes second-hand items for Kemp Hospice's fund-raising effort has picked up a bottle of bubbly as a thank-you.
Wilf Daniels, who lives in the same street as the hospice on Sutton Park Road, has been repairing all kinds of electrical and household goods to go on sale at the hospice shops for about a year.
The retired BT maintenance worker often spends one day a week sorting out lamps, radios, televisions and toys donated by the public.
"The radios and table lamps sell well," said Mr Daniels, 75. "Kemp do a good job and I'll help them as long as I can."
He also sorts stamps for the shops and collects various items from friends and neighbours for the hospice.
Kemp has shops in Oxford Street, Kidderminster, Tan Lane, Stourport, and Load Street, Bewdley.
