THE Castlemorton Gardening Club's monthly lecture will be held on Thursday, April 17, at 7.45pm in Castlemorton Parish Hall. Time to broaden our horizons on herbs and move away from just the old favourites of parsley and mint. Kim Hurst, from the Cottage Herbery at Tenbury Wells, will be coming to speak to us about kitchen garden herbs, and no doubt may be giving us some culinary and medicinal tips about their uses. Visitors are most welcome.
Thank you to the generosity of everyone involved in Saturday's jumble sale. It was well supported and raised a record sum in excess of £340 for the benefit of Castlemorton Jubilee Bell project and churchyard funds.
Forthcoming dates: Maundy Thursday 7.30pm Holy Communion at Longdon, Good Friday meditation 1pm at Castlemorton, Easter Day 11.15am Holy Communion at Castlemorton and Gift Day at Castlemorton on May 3.
