A few notes, or reminders, for your diary: Monday sees the presentation and debate about the future of the Commons and Hills, together with the proposed cattle grids being held in the Welland Village Hall at 7.30pm. Another reminder is that you should have received a transport survey by now. If you could answer it as quickly as possible and return it to the Post Office, Paddy Hannigan or John Godden, then we will know what the extent of the problem is and how best to tackle it. The proposed litter-pick is attracting quite a lot of interest and should be going ahead sometime in mid-May. Finally, remember voting day for your local councils is Thursday, May 1 this year and, locally, will be held again in the village hall.
A final note, there is a plant sale at the village hall tomorrow (Saturday) from 9.30am-11.30am.
