PERSHORE III 5pts, MALVERN SEAGULLS 18pts
A strong word from Pershore captain Ian Brown stirred the home side into action after Pete Hinds had scored for Malvern on 20 minutes.
With the last play of the half John Horsley scored to give Seagulls a 10-5 lead.
With Pershore getting more desperate play started to spread out and experience led to Malvern's second row Mike Calvert appearing as an extra man in the centre leading to desperate defence from the hosts and leaving them short when Pete Sharpe was fed the ball from the ruck and no one was going to stop him scoring a try and giving the Seagulls a 5-18 win.
